How does Kadenza access my workout data?

Kadenza syncs with Apple Health (HealthKit) on your iPhone. When you grant permission, Kadenza reads your workouts, heart rate, distance, pace, calories, and body metrics. This data is securely sent to our server so your AI coach can analyze your training and provide personalized advice. We never sell your data or share it with third parties.

What devices are supported?

Kadenza is available for iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Apple Health integration requires an iPhone — workout data from Apple Watch is synced through Apple Health on your iPhone automatically.

What activity types does Kadenza support?

Kadenza supports running, walking, cycling, hiking, swimming, yoga, strength training, core training, HIIT, cross-training, elliptical, rowing, stair climbing, pilates, dance, cooldown, mixed cardio, and more. Any workout recorded in Apple Health can be synced and analyzed.

What's the difference between Basic and Pro?

Basic (free) gives you 5 coaching questions per day and access to the last 30 days of workouts. Pro unlocks unlimited questions, full workout history, multiple conversation threads, custom fitness goals, a custom coach persona, and proactive activity feedback.

How do I customize my coach?

Go to your Profile and tap "Coach." Describe the type of coach you want (e.g., "a motivating marathon trainer" or "a calm yoga-focused guide"), and Kadenza will generate a unique AI personality and avatar for you.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel your Kadenza Pro subscription. You'll continue to have Pro access until the end of your billing period.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Profile in the app and tap "Delete Account" at the bottom. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.

Is my data private?

Yes. We take your privacy seriously. Your data is only used to provide coaching through the app. We use Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI to power the AI coach — your workout data and messages are sent to these providers solely for generating coaching responses.
